Community Hub

As part of our ongoing mission to support families and strengthen our partnership with the wider community, we’re proud to introduce our Community Hub — a dedicated space within our nursery designed to offer support, connection, and comfort.

This welcoming room serves multiple purposes:

• A safe, calm environment for sensitive conversations and private meetings between families and staff.
• A sensory area where children can engage in calming activities and enjoy one-on-one time with their key person.
• A quiet, respectful space available for prayer or breastfeeding, ensuring the needs of all our families are considered.

Our Community Hub is also an information point. We’ll be regularly updating our display boards with helpful resources from both the local authority and our nursery team. This includes guidance on:

• Safeguarding and our responsibilities
• SEND support, including how we promote inclusive development using tools like WELLCOMM assessments
• How we work closely with Trafford’s Area SENCo to meet the needs of every child

We’re excited to continue developing this space and sharing more updates with you soon. Our Community Hub is just one of the ways we’re working to create a nurturing environment for both children and families.
